Our dedicated Undergraduate CareersPlus team is here to help you, whether you know exactly what you want to do after graduation, are considering your options, or have no idea. The team will provide you with tailored advice and support throughout your studies, and have a wealth of knowledge across a wide variety of sectors. The team can also help with your personal development such as improving your networking skills, building confidence or articulating your strengths. We aim to ensure that you get the most out of the university experience to enhance your career prospects and be a ‘work ready’ graduate, whatever field you choose. Together with the Employer Relations team, a comprehensive ‘Prepare’ and ‘Engage’ programme of careers workshops, employer and alumni engagement events, networking opportunities and guest speaker events are organised during the year. How do I book an appointment? We offer one-to-one careers appointments, both face-to-face on campus and online. These appointments can cover any career-related topics including exploring your career options, reviewing your CV or applications, and helping with interviews and assessment centres. To keep up-to-date with the latest Careers information and opportunities, including appointment bookings, self-assessment tools, sector insights, events, and online resources you should regularly keep an eye on: ■ The digital screens in the WBS building including the Undergraduate dedicated screens in the UG Learning Space (0.002) and outside the Undergraduate Office, as well as the Careers dedicated screen by the ground floor central atrium lifts. ■ The my.wbs Careers ebulletin (opt-in required) ■ The Undergraduate Careers LinkedIn group: W wbs.ac.uk/go/ug-linkedin ■ The CareersPlus section on my.wbs: W wbs.ac.uk/go/careersportal
