WEEKLY HAPPENINGS at the club WILMINGTON COUNTRY CLUB GROUNDS We will continue seasonal closure of outdoor clay tennis courts with #7, 8 & 9 this week. On Tuesday, November 12th, we will sand inject the grass tennis courts. After this process, the grass courts will be closed for the season. South Course aerification continues today with fairways 12, 14, and 16. We are injecting sand into the South greens today. We will perform the same procedure on the practice greens tomorrow. Orchard Update: There are a few varieties left to be harvested. Some tags will be removed as some of the fruit has over ripened.
The Bag Room and Practice Range are now closed on Mondays until the spring. If you need your golf clubs on a Monday, please arrange to collect them from the Bag Room in advance. Golf carts and trolleys are not available on Mondays through the winter. Players are welcome to play the North Course carrying their own bag after 10 a.m. Guest play is never permitted on Monday. Junior Golf Classes will take place each Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, until December 19. All juniors welcome to attend regardless of age and experience.
