Iced teas Iced fruit or herbal teas are delicious and so versatile! You can have great fun browsing through the varieties offered. Make up a pitcher every day and keep it in the fridge – they’re especially refreshing when you top the glass up with some sparkling water and a block or two of ice. Iced green tea with a slice of orange is also a real treat. Berry bomb • 7-8 berries of your choice (Blueberries are best!) • 1 Rosemary sprig stripped • 2 Tablespoons honey • 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice • 120 ml sparkling water Muddle berries, Rosemary and honey in a cocktail shaker. Add lemon juice and shake with ice for 10 seconds. Strain through a mesh strainer into a tall glass of ice. Top with sparkling water and stir to incorporate.

• ½ cup dried lavender • 1 cup fresh lemon juice

Bring water and honey to boil over medium heat. Crush lavender in mortar and pestle, add to the water and honey and remove from the heat. Cover, refrigerate and steep for at least 2 hours. Strain through a fine mesh sieve, add the lemon juice and serve with ice.

Insed water The easiest and truly refreshing option is infused water. You don’t need to buy expensive flavoured waters that also come with unwelcome calories and frequently also other additives. You can use any of the following, or experiment with your own combinations to surprise family and friends: • Sliced citrus fruits or zest (lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit) • Crushed fresh mint • Peeled, sliced fresh ginger or sliced cucumber • Crushed berries When you are entertaining, it makes a lasting impression to serve a variety of mocktails in different sized pitchers or punch bowls, garnished and decorated with mint or fresh fruit.
