Normal birth vs. a C-section

What are your options and what is best for you and your baby? I n a report issued in 2010, the World Health Organisation (WHO) claimed that the rising raise of C-sections on a global scale was cause for concern. The Council of Medical Schemes in South Africa estimates that around 70% of births in private hospitals in the country are C-sections. The WHO advises on a 10 to 15% C-section rate per country. Both the United States and Australia have C-section rates of around 1 in 3, while most European countries have much lower rates. Finland has a rate of just 16%.
