To keep up-to-date with the latest careers information and opportunities, including appointment bookings, self-assessment tools, sector insights, events, and online resources you should regularly keep an eye on: ■ Digital screens in the WBS buildings, including the Careers dedicated screen by the ground floor central atrium lifts ■ The CareersPlus section on my.wbs: W wbs.ac.uk/go/careersportal Careers workshops and events can be booked through MyAdvantage: W myadvantage.warwick.ac.uk
The start of your time here at WBS is the beginning of the rest of your career and it’s never too early to start thinking about how to make the right impression with employers. Whether you are studying one of our finance, business, or management courses, you will receive tailored careers advice as part of your degree. Our dedicated CareersPlus team have a wealth of experience across a wide variety of sectors, and can support you to find the right career path for you. Together with the Employer Relations team, a comprehensive ‘Prepare’ and ‘Engage’ programme of careers workshops, employer and alumni engagement events, networking opportunities and guest speaker events are organised during the year. We offer one-to-one careers appointments, both face-to-face on campus and online. You can use these appointments for any careers-related discussion, from career coaching to application checks and mock interviews. Appointments can be booked through MyAdvantage: W myadvantage.warwick.ac.uk/students/ appointments
