Magazine donation to primary school For the fourth year in a row, the students of St Peter Chanel Primary School in the Port Moresby suburb of Erima have received a donation of cartons of PNG Air inflight magazines as a reading resource. The donation was made at the start of the 2025 school year on January 27 and is part of PNG Air’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. The presentation was particularly special for the airline’s marketing team this year as they were accompanied by former student Shirley Sombolok, who is now PNG Air’s manager – manpower planning. For Shirley the visit included a lot of nostalgia and reminiscing on her days at the school in the 1990s. Even though a lot has changed, she was amazed to find much of what she remembers is still
