Menasha Packaging Company Lays Off 66 Workers In Edwardsville, IL Menasha Packaging Company announced 66 layoffs at its plant in Edwardsville, Illinois, according to local media reports. The layoffs for the non-union positions will be ef- fective on October 31. The Illinois Department of Commerce confirmed the news through the Illinois Worker Adjustment and Retrain- ing Notification Act (WARN). Menasha Packaging started out as a wooden pail facto- ry in Menasha, Wisconsin in 1849. Today, the family-owned company, based in Neenah, Wisconsin, is a provider of graphic consumer packaging, merchandising solutions, contract packaging and fulfillment services, corrugated packaging, food packaging and shipping containers.
