The kitchen layout had a great flow, with a living area directly off the kitchen. Storage was a priority with custom cabinetry, drawers, and a recessed pantry to maximize space and the addition of a powerful range hood that would allow them to sear in a cast iron pan without setting off smoke alarms!
T he home was a spacious 3,600 square feet with great bones and some interesting architectural features. The stunning curved staircase needed some serious updates and many of the rooms had awkward layouts, so the renovation required a complete gut.
The priority was to understand exactly how the family needed their home to function. They were drawn to both traditional and contemporary design elements, appreciating the dimension of a classic shaker-style cabinet but also gravitating toward clean, simple lines. Each decision helped transform this house into a home that truly reflects the family’s vision—a seamless blend of style and function. Bringing this home to life was an amazing journey. Every space was designed with purpose, where each piece of furniture feels natural and lived-in, never overly styled. It’s a home that effortlessly blends beauty and function, offering a place that’s as inviting as it is practical for everyday living.
