6 56TH NSRA STREET ROD NATIONALS NEW STREET ROD PRODUCTS WINNERS

E very year the NSRA “New Street Rod has a steady flow of participants and spectators checking out the latest products from manufacturers while attending the Street Rod Nationals. Rodders view the latest offerings from the manufacturers looking for items they can apply to their current project or make improvements to the ones they are currently enjoying. the New Product display room on Thursday and cast their “Best New Product” votes in three groups and one “Safety Related” category from the 49 new products on display. The judges are not affiliated with any of the exhibiting companies and they represent a cross section of rodding enthusiasts, including media people, NSRA State Representatives, Safety Inspectors and well-versed rodders at large. Saturday the exhibit is open to participants and spectators alike and it’s always full of people checking out all that’s new. Over the past 48 years, since its inception in 1978, upwards of 6,000 new products have been introduced to Street Rod Nationals attendees, and that doesn’t include manufacturers that display new products in their booth but were not in competition to win a New Product category.

“Up to $200” Winner: NSRA Event Director Mike Adams coordi- nates the New Products display so he was on hand to congratulate Justin Somerville, president of Tanks Inc., for their win in Group A with an “Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator with Integrated Filter.”
