The new traditional

Bob Kropp’s motto is “Dream, Build, Drive.” His latest vision is his resto rod ’31 Ford road- ster pickup with Brookville sheetmetal, a 350/350 power- train, a stock-style interior, and Chicle paint over black fenders.

The oddest rods always seem to find us, and we certainly enjoyed Paul & Lisa McGinnis’ ’58 Willys from Monticello, KY, that has a Sears and Roebuck hard top, the original Hurricane 4 powerplant, and modern 285/70/17 Toyo rubber.

• Designed with OEM aesthetics. • App for configuration on phone or tablet. • 30+ selectable lighting colors. • Simulated tumbler odometer on screen.

Tony & Rosie Krom’s ’36 Plymouth Business Coupe from Wabash, IN, looks low and slow, but packs Chevy 383 power, a RideTech upgraded Mustang II IFS, and Seacrest Green paint that looks totally up to date.
