16, Ultrablack and 3 Red Angus home-raised heifers. The fancy set Ultrablack heifers are sired by GENEPLUS Ultrablack bulls and out of Northern quality Angus cows. Born, bred, and raised on SW MO fescue, these heifers have all the intangibles to succeed in life with the quality of their progeny that will earn the top of the market. These heifers carry approximately 1/8 th ear, meaning they will shed their hair, possess added tick, fly, and disease resistance and should have built-in immunity to eye problems and fescue toxicity issues. The fancy set of Red Angus influenced heifers stem back to the best in Red Angus genetics built on fescue in Barton County for generations, with a heavy influence from the Lacy Red Angus program in Drexel. Deep sided, easy doing kind that exhibit everything that has made the Red Angus cow so popular over the last two decades. Heterosis and hybrid vigor at their best, these heifers are either AI bred safe to the calving ease and performance leading Triple Crown, who posts 15 traits in the top 35% of the breed association, including the top 1% for CED and REA, 3% for BW and WW, 5% for YW, and 10% for IMF, or cleaned up with an elite calving ease GENEPLUS bull. From a first-time consignor, these heifers are long on quality, and built through generations of real-world, first-hand experience in the business from a family ranching operation.
