CIPP Membership Services

As the only Chartered body for individuals in payroll, the CIPP believes that payroll, pensions and reward professionals are stronger together.

Who can apply for membership? Membership of the CIPP is open to anyone who is responsible for delivering a payroll or automatic enrolment service, whether in- house or for clients, including accountants and bookkeepers and professionals in peripheral sectors such as finance, HR, service providers, and so ware developers.

Why join the CIPP? By becoming of member of the CIPP, you are joining a community of passionate, knowledgeable and supportive individuals across the industry, coming together to raise the profile of profession through developing and sharing skills and knowledge.

‡ MEMBERSHIP GRADES ‡ The CIPP offers four grades of membership, with benefits available to suit all levels

FELLOW _

AFFILIATE _ Entry level open to anyone connected with the profession but not necessarily working in payroll, pensions or reward.

ASSOCIATE _ Entry level open to professionals experienced or qualified in payroll, pensions or reward*.

FULL _ Available to individuals upgrading from associate level (a er one year) with industry experience or qualifications*. Also awarded to those qualified to CIPP level 5.

Awarded by the board of directors to individuals that demonstrate contributions to the enhancement of the Institute and the profession, or qualified to CIPP level six or seven in payroll, pensions or reward.
