We love an awesome family tree, Paprika has one of the best at Big Woods! Paprika’s Dam 524 Nightingale is just getting started! Paprika’s granddam is 153 Firecracker VIC and sired by Maverick, 153 Firecracker VIC is just that – a real Firecracker! A 2015 model that is still going strong with twin rams in 2025 – talk about longevity! Her 2024 lambs 623 Olivia – sold in Sedalia, and 624 Olive – sold on our online sale. We flushed Firecracker VIC and ended up with some FANTASTIC lambs - NAILE 23 results: 526 Nirvana, Champion Ewe Junior Show and Open Show class winner, full sibs 524 Nightingale (dam of Paprika) and 533 Maize stood 1-2 in the Open Show Fall class, and Maize was 2nd in the Junior Show, 531 Montana won both the Open and Junior Show Fall ram class – we could go on and on… Olde English and BSRA registered.

Poetry, this gal profiles like a dream with plenty of bone and style to boot! We purchased Frosty Pine Fiber Farm 0004 Betty from Donna Larsen in northern MN on her flock dispersal in ’21 and we’re so glad we did! Two of her daughters have been on our online sales: 480 Minnie and 562 Napa – both were purchased by the same shepherd! Betty’s 2024 son - 643 Outlaw was purchased privately off the farm and is at stud at Up Sheep Creek in Indiana. Sired by Big Woods NYC Donkers 567, second place lamb at NAILE in 2023 behind the Champion Ram. Big Woods Night Rider 566. NABSSAR registered and can be OE.
