The St. Iakovos Retreat Center is a beautiful 137-acre facility nestled in Kenosha WI with a glistening 11-acre lake with over 50 acre pinewood forest. Our unique facility offers a peaceful setting for overnight retreats and camps as well as a joyful environment for celebrations such as weddings and family reunions. Our “getaway from it all” retreat space, provides a place for relaxation, self reflection and team building. Corporations and businesses can host strategy planning, workshops and conferences. Additionally we offer state of the art Sports Fields and Activities. Natural beauty and outdoor space to learn and grow, recreate and relax, St. Iakovos Retreat Center offers you the perfect setting for your personal and group needs.
Camps & Retreats
St. Iakovos Retreat Center specializes in hosting guests of all ages for focused retreats and camps. We provide a 137-acre natural playground complete with outdoors activities, and plenty of indoor space to have studies and fellowship time. Our chapel seats 35, with plenty of outdoor area to tent for special services. Our main Tomaras Lodge is the central core to retreats complete with a large great room for gathering, a professional kitchen, cafeteria, dining hall, and lodging accommodations for 30 - 200 guests.
Our two cottages provide communal sleeping areas for a "camp style" experience. Our property features a 11 acre lake for water recreation with boats and fishing gear. Enjoy plenty of games together from basketball, sand volleyball, soccer, and softball. The barn with farm animals is a guest favorite and our 50-acre pine forest complete with 2.1 miles of winding trails, is relaxing and inspirational.
Enjoy fireside chats and laughter in our gathering circle outdoors or at one of our three fireplaces. Come for the fellowship and learning. Stay for the respite away from our busy lives.

St. Iakovos Retreat Center provides the perfect backdrop to your special occasions. Whether a wedding, family reunion, anniversary party, graduation party or another milestone event, we are sure to provide a memorable experience
With 137 acres and four lodging style choices, we can host up to 200 guests. With various event venue gathering locations indoor and outdoor, your can choose a chapel, lakeside, or main lodge wedding area. Our Dining Hall boasts large windows looking out over the lake, a stone fireplace and large doors that open to access a large patio and outdoor fireplace.
Imagine your event taking place on the property with friends and family gathered around together without having to stay overnight elsewhere. Spending extra relaxation and recreation time with family before and after your event is easy.
Business, Corporate Events & Conferences
St. Iakovos Retreat Center is the ideal “getaway” to focus on your business goals, host an employee holiday party, picnic, or schedule learning, training workshops or conferences. Strategic planning and team building is made easy using the resources we provide. Your overnight stay will be comfortable with several lodging styles to serve 200 guests. Our amenities and recreational team building activities provide fun breaks from meetings
With plenty of room for together meetings and areas to break-off for quiet, learning, study, or reflection time, we provide flexible options in customizing your special conference, workshop of meeting needs. Our multiple facilities and 137 acre property gives each employee a chance to motivate teams while building important business models, processes, and strategies.

Accommodations
Tomaras Lodge is a 21,000 square foot, fully accessible, multi-level, all-inclusive building with 26 hotel style accomodations. Seated on the shores of 11-acre Friendship Lake with breathtaking views of the water and beach as well as the entire property of St. Iakovos Retreat Center.
The Cottages provide bunk style communal arrangements and sleeps 32 people divided into two separate sides. Additional amenities offered in the cottages are heating and air-conditioning, Wi-Fi access, The Log Lodge sleeps 21 with two separate sleeping areas, two bathrooms, a large gathering room, full kitchen, and fireplace, outdoor pool, and bbq pit.
Sports & Activities
St. Iakovos offers many diverse activities for our guests to engage in. From team sports to quiet moments in our wooded forest or chapel, water activities on the lake, or a visit to our barn to feed the animals. We offer a perfect natural setting for your group.
