E, soprattutto, sempre rinasce
I have chosen to investigate the motifs of the Ita- lian Renaissance with their geometries, chroma- tic paths and the peculiar traits of surfaces and atmospheres. I isolated some details to reinter- pret them in my wallpapers. The arches of the Palazzo della Cancelleria in Rome and the ashlar masonry façade of Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence are little big details that I take up and design with passion. From pure research to the desire to revive them on contemporary walls the step is short and, from here are born present-day patterns linked to an all-Italian narrative that tells of rebirth, art and historical intelligence. Mine has been a journey through time, from which I bring precious witnesses with me. Ingredients of pro- ducts born of an uninterrupted cultural spirit that everything observes and dares. Which does not stop and, above all, is always reborn.
Ho scelto di indagare i motivi del Rinascimento italiano con le loro geometrie, i percorsi croma- tici e le particolari qualità di superfici e atmosfere. Ne ho isolato dei particolari per reinterpretar- li nelle mie carte da parati. Le arcate di Palazzo della Cancelleria a Roma, il bugnato esterno di Palazzo Medici Riccardi a Firenze diventano i piccoli grandi dettagli che con passione ripren- do e disegno. Dalla ricerca pura al desiderio di farli rivivere su pareti contemporanee il passo è breve e, da qui, nascono motivi odierni legati a una narrativa tutta italiana che parla di rinascita, arte e intelligenza storica. Un viaggio nel tempo, il mio, da cui porto con me testimoni preziosi. Ingredienti di prodotti figli di un ininterrotto spirito culturale che tutto osserva e tutto osa. Che non si ferma e, soprattutto, sempre rinasce.
