THE KING’S BUSINESS

that room became a sacred place, a- very Holy of holies, as kneeling there this son of Abraham became, as I believe, a child of God. When we rose, I could not look at him, but I knew he was weeping. Speak ing later of our obedience to Christ, he

NE young girl, a professing Christian, was shown Bible proof that she could have absolute assurance of salvation and with that new found possession, she re fused a position with short hours and good pay, because it was with a moving picture show. ________ ;______ On the way to a Bible class we met a young womafl going to the same place. We had a little personal conversation with her in which she said, “ Some way I never can seem to believe.” An invitation to the class met the excuse that she was in a hurry and could pnly remain a moment.. W e urged the lady of the house to have her come in to the class, and she did. During class someone asked, concerning a verse that was read, “Why, one might know they believed by that, could they not?” The light seemed to break all over the face of the young woman and after class' she said, “ Yes, I can and do believe. It came all at once.” God led me into a home yesterday where a young woman was the home helper in the absence of the mother, hough not invited in, we had quite a talk on the porch. God’s plan of salvation was given and acceptance pressed home, but was rejected. Finally John 3:16 was given and God’s free gift which must be accepted and faith" the hand which accepts the gift, were made clear and this young woman realized her position of rejection of God’s best gift. With tears streaming down her face she fled from the door into the parlor, where she flung her self into a chair in a perfect paroxism of weeping. I didn’t wait to be invited in but went in and, kneeling with her, witnessed her confession of Jesus.

House to house visitation has been won derfully blgssed in one district. One woman said, with tears in her eyes, I have been up against almost impossible things this year in my life. I feel that only for this study my faith would hardly have stood the test.” Another young woman was found who had been married only two years, whose money, watch, jewelry and everything were gone. Even her husband had proven untrue to her and she must face the world again alone, penniless. In her sorrow, she ex claimed, “ O, how could I even do it with out Him whom I have come to know per sonally the last few months in this little Bible class?” A crowd of rollicking, happy boys, out for a good time / one Sunday afternoon, found it robbing fruit trees. They were not bad boys, but just thoughtless. Our Bible woman was passing and saw them. She spoke to them kindly and a little street meeting resulted in which there was a talk about the old nature and the necessity for a new birth. A dispensational talk fol lowed, the Bible woman having a chart in her bag. The boys were greatly interested and there sitting on the cement wall on a street corner she had the wonderful priv ilege of lifting up Jesus to that crowd of •boys so that two of the seven accepted Him as Saviour. One evening a young woman was found lying on her bed, suffering from toothache. Prompted to return a few moments later, the Bible woman found her off guard, weep ing, but when asked sympathetically if the pain were so very severe, she shook her
