Value-Based Health and Care is gaining ground at both regional, national and European level, and is bringing both challenges and opportunities for all actors in the health system. The life-science industry will be challenged to show that the products and services they offer bring true value for patients, health systems and society; but a value-based system will at the same time incentivise innovations that do create this value. Making a Value-Based system work requires new forms of partnerships built on trust and mutual understanding. This is why educational initiatives that brings the actors together in one conversation are so important, and I’m therefore very excited to be part of this programme.
