Welsh Government is pleased to be supporting
the Value-Based Health and Care Academy, through the Intensive Learning Academy Programme, which is part of A Healthier Wales, our long-term plan for health and social care. The Academies will focus on the professional capability and system leadership which our health and care system needs for the future. Academies will act as hubs for developing the skills and expertise needed; for exchanging knowledge and good practice between sectors and across borders; for translating research into outcomes; and for working with external partners. Graduates of the Academies will take a leading role in planning and delivering system change in priority areas, such as Value-Based Health and Care.
