WHAT DOES MARCH BRING US?
Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland and one of the most well-known figures in Christian history. Born in the 4th century in Britain, he was kidnapped by Irish pirates at the age of 16 and taken to Ireland as a slave. After six years, he escaped and returned home but later went back to Ireland as a missionary to spread Christianity. He is credited with converting many Irish people to Christianity and is famous for using the shamrock to explain the Trinity. His feast day, March 17th, is celebrated worldwide, especially in Ireland, with parades and cultural events.
