From design concepts to creative projects and rapid prototyping to product development, students have the opportunity to explore innovative ideas, fabricate, and tinker in a collaborative space.
Launched in Fall 2021 at CTEC and ROC, the Ideation Lab is equipped with cutting-edge technology and machinery including a laser cutter, 3D printers, a milling machine, a direct-to-garment printer, large format inkjet printer/ cutter, and more. Our mission is to empower students to become confident self-starters by offering the resources, technology, and support to transform their ideas into realities.

Ivan further developed his business idea, Power Scrubber, by creating the Ideation Lab’s very first prototype.
To showcase her business, Ella’s Corner, she used the lab to create a laser cut bookshelf and a UV print of her logo.
Jonas utilized the lab to print his copper jewelery business logo on a vinyl banner and t-shirt to exhibit at the ERC’s “Shop Small for Fall” event.
