ENTREPRENEURIAL ESSENTIALS & ENDEAVORS (EEE)

ADVANCED: PIVOT OR PROCEED

Term Typically Offered: Fall & Spring, 12 weeks, 36 hours of Instruction Prerequisite: EEM, having an active business or a business idea

Term Typically Offered: Fall & Spring, 12 weeks, 36 hours Instruction Prerequisite: EEE Location: CTEC Not for academic credit. This twelve-week advanced course is a continuation of EEE with an emphasis on further developing students’ business or business ideas through financial planning, customer discovery, creating a prototype and/or promotional items, and more. Our advanced students are using the customer discovery process to determine if they will pivot or proceed in bringing their business idea to market and seek capital investments.

Entrepreneurial Essentials and Endeavors (EEE) is an intermediate twelve-week course that focuses on the essentials of entrepreneurial thinking and endeavors. Topics include evaluation and validation of a business idea through the Business Model Canvas, market research, and interaction with local entrepreneurs of the business community, culminating with a pitch night. Students also take the Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile® (EMP) at Eckerd College to learn more about their natural entrepreneurial tendencies as well as skills to improve upon.
