Unit Overview Unit Description: In a world where art meets nature, a new challenge arises—how can we create an installation that changes with the rhythm of the sun? Welcome to “Shadows in Motion,” where learners become both artists and engineers, tasked with designing an art installation that evolves with the time of day. By studying the patterns of sunlight and shadow, they’ll craft structures that transform ordinary shadows into mesmerizing displays of art. Using flashlights to model the sun’s journey, they’ll experiment and refine their designs until every shadow tells a story. The canvas is the earth, the brush is the sun—will your art come alive as the day unfolds? The dance of shadows begins now!
