O h, those wonderful wedding cakes! Sumptuous, delicious, and ornately decorated, the cake is the center of atten- tion at every wedding. Wedding cake styles today range from the traditional to the contemporary, adorned with colorful flowers or fondant decorations. As you search for the ultimate cake design, expect to see cre- ations you never imagined. Think of a luscious devil's food cake filled with chocolate mousse and glazed with shiny dark choc- olate. Or it could be designed and shaped like a stack of boxes wrapped in white chocolate ribbons. Designs are only limited by your imagination. Not to be overlooked is the cake topper. The plastic bride and groom topper has been replaced by whimsical, elegant, or per- sonalized tops like porcelain figures or flowers to match the flow- ers used in your bouquets.
