Un autre commerce devient fier commanditaire du projet d’encan de Centraide/UnitedWay Prescott-Russell. Le magasin Meubles Accent Rockland se joint aux commerces qui participeront à l’encan. Le magasin fournira des meubles pour l’encan sur consignation qui aura lieu le 8 septembre prochain à l’aréna Jean-Marc Lalonde à Rockland. Meubles Accent Rockland furniture store joins other businesses that will be participating in the auction. The store will provide furniture items to be sold at the consignment auction to be held September 8th at the Jean-Marc Lalonde Arena in Rockland. Alberte Villeneuve-Sinclair, an author from Beckett Creek, located between Cumberland and Rockland, and who now lives in Vars, is currently promoting her sixth and latest novel Muses from the Blue Shack. She was meeting guests, selling and signing copies of all her books at the Rockland branch of the Clarence-Rockland Public Library on Wednesday, July 18. Muses from the Blue Shack , published with Baico Publishing and Distribution, is different from her other novels, as it is an anthology of articles she has written over the years. Villeneuve-Sinclair writes originally in either both French and English, and usually always translates her work into the other language afterwards. During her last interview with the Vision , Villeneuve-Sinclair expressed her desire to continue writing anthologies in the future. —photo Alexia Marsillo
