BMC SUPPORTIVE EMPLOYMENT HOUSING CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

Program - Employment Services

Our employment services provide a wide range of services to both the employer and the employees. For our employment partners, we help recruit and vet candidates that are reliable and capable of performing the job duties and present the attributes consistent with the values and culture that make up the work environment of the employer’s organization. We also provide support to the direct supervisors of these partners in strategies of managing a diverse workforce as we are in direct, regular communication with staff and the organization’s supervisors for however long our partners want us to be. We will also assist with the off-boarding process when an employee is no longer able to work, not a good fit, or chooses to no longer work for the company. Additionally, we provide support to all of the employees we refer to our employment partners by offering opportunities for self- development including, but not limited to, soft skills development, working in teams, financial literacy, and transportation. We also provide general safety training and workplace etiquette training in advance of employment. We also partner with organizations like the Building Trades to support them in diversifying their workforce. “Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.” - Booker T. Washington
