Program - Mentorship

Our mentoring program centers Black men and other vulnerable populations and pairs them with mentors from all different backgrounds that look like our participants and can provide them with the tools that they need. Black Men Coalition of Dane County has partnered with several local professional, social, and faith-based organizations to successfully engage Black men, Black male youth, and all other individuals in need in long-term, professionally supported, outcomes-focused mentoring. We foster meaningful relationships between experienced mentors and eager mentees to provide valuable guidance, support, and resources for personal and professional growth. We believe in the importance of mentoring and have built it into all our programming. As part of our mentorship program, participants receive: “Don’t aspire to make a living, aspire to make a difference.” - Denzel Washington
