parking lot to the Mixed Grille, additional air ducts, new support beams in the attic, acoustics, and the need for a dedicated outdoor HVAC air system. These changes, coupled with construction inflation, have increased costs on the project. The Board has selected a contractor for the project. The Club’s Construction Oversight Committee worked very hard during the bidding process to achieve maximum value for the members, ultimately keeping the cost of the project within approximately 20% of the original estimate. The Board is very thankful to the COC for their due diligence. This increase in cost will not result in new assessments of the membership. As fellow members of the Club, the Board appreciates your feedback. If you have not already received an email with more information regarding the Grille Expansion Project, you will be getting this information via USPS in the next few days. We kindly ask that you review it and and let us know if you agree or disagree with the direction we are moving in. We thank the Membership for their continued support and look forward to construction starting within the next three (3) weeks.

TO OUR FELLOW EQUITY MEMBERS, The Board would like to take this opportunity to provide the following update on the Mixed Grille construction project. As most of you are aware, the Club has been in the planning and bidding phase for the Mixed Grille expansion project for over a year. The major goals of the expansion were to provide more seating, increasethecapacityoftheundersizedkitchen, buildinthe capacity to wash dishes, reduce the pervasively loud noise levels in the Grille, and build a new bar to provide more seating and take advantage of a view of the golf course. The Board feels we have met all of these goals with the current design. During the planning phase, in addition to large increases in costs in the construction industry statewide (estimate to be a MINIMUM of 10%), the Club learned of several new elements that were required by the Building Department to be addressed during construction. Examples include: the need to demo certain areas of the parking area to create an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) walkway from the

Our selection for April...

William Waters grew up in a house silenced by tragedy, where his parents could hardly bear to look at him, much less love him—so when he meets the spirited and ambitious Julia Padavano in his freshman year of college, it’s as if the world has lit up around him. With Julia comes her family, as she and her three sisters are inseparable: Sylvie, the family’s dreamer, is happiest with her nose in a book; Cecelia is a free-spirited artist; and Emeline patiently takes care of them all. With the Padavanos, William experiences a newfound contentment; every moment in their house is filled with loving chaos. But then darkness from William’s past surfaces, jeopardizing not only Julia’s carefully orchestrated plans for their future, but the sisters’ unshakeable devotion to one another. The result is a catastrophic family rift that changes their lives for generations. Will the loyalty that once rooted them be strong enough to draw them back together when it matters most? An exquisite homage to Louisa May Alcott’s timeless classic, Little Women, Hello Beautiful is a profoundly moving portrait of what is possible when we choose to love someone not in spite of who they are, but because of it.
