We are particularly drawn to projects where there is an opportunity to unlock the full potential of an existing building. What do you find most rewarding about transforming people’s homes? The most rewarding aspect is seeing how considered design can transform the experience of living in a home. Through careful attention to space, light and flow, homes begin to feel more intuitive, calm and connected. Often the changes are subtle, but they have a lasting impact on how the space is used every day. Being able to guide clients through that process, and deliver something that genuinely improves how they live, is what makes the work so fulfilling. Tell us about Context Architecture and your design approach. Context Architecture is an award-winning, design- led studio specialising in residential renovations and extensions across London. Based in South London, the practice has developed a strong reputation in Dulwich and surrounding areas, while increasingly working across Central London. Much of our work focuses on period homes, where we introduce carefully considered interventions that enhance the character of the existing building while bringing a sense of light, simplicity and cohesion. We guide clients through the entire process, from initial concept through to completion on site, providing clarity and direction at each stage.
