TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT THE BACKGROUND OF QUEST 4 CONSTRUCTION Quest 4 Construction Ltd is a family- run business, bringing together experienced traditional domestic and commercial specialists. Our services span across CDM consultancy, including project management, quantity surveying, building surveying, architectural design, building services engineering and design technology, along with other related consultancy services. After working in local government for over 10 years across housing management, repairs, voids, regeneration and new build projects, I decided to take redundancy and pursue a new challenge. During this time, I returned to university and achieved both a BA and an MBA in Business Management. I was fortunate to travel to China as part of my studies, attending the University of Shanghai, climbing the Great Wall of China and experiencing the culture first-hand. This broadened my perspective in ways I had never imagined, giving me valuable insight into the future of business in Britain by studying, analysing and learning from its past. This experience reignited a passion I had long suppressed due to the challenges of working in a traditionally male-dominated
industry. It gave me the confidence and resilience to establish my own business and drive it forward. Today, innovation, technology and education sit at the heart of our ethos as we continue to grow sustainably within an evolving market. WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB? What I enjoy most is meeting new clients and working collaboratively to understand their vision. The process of brainstorming and problem-solving together is incredibly rewarding. However, the most satisfying moment is seeing a project come to life — standing back at the end and seeing the finished result. Above all, it’s the smile on a client’s face when their vision becomes a reality that makes it all worthwhile.
