2 WEEKS BEFORE
4 WEEKS BEFORE Redirect your mail
3 WEEKS BEFORE Plan care for pets
Rearrange broadband, TV and phone services Inform friends and family of your new address
and plants – ask Edwards for advice Use up freezer contents Sketch room layouts to plan furniture placement
Update addresses with subscriptions and utility providers Arrange utility connections at your new home Notify your council – check for possible tax rebates
1 WEEK BEFORE Empty lofts, sheds, and drain garden equipment
Update your home contents insurance
ON MOVING DAY - Relax and let us do all of the work, but remember to... Make sure you have personally taken cash and jewellery with you to your new home Take meter readings at your old and new addresses
