college. Faculty (including chairs) shall represent at least 2/3 of the voting members of the committee. 2. Have clearly delineated terms that allow for continuity on the committee.
Section IV. Committee Responsibilities
A. The committees are consultative groups for the deans and are the minimum required consultation on college and unit budget questions decisions. Larger questions Extra- and inter-collegial budget decisions may require broader consultation, as outlined in Section II.C-D., “Areas Meriting Significant Faculty Consultation” and “Procedures for Faculty Consultation.” B. The committees shall review and make recommendations about the entirety of the college budget. C. Committees shall report back on to the faculty in their college on a regular basis.
Section V. Committee Member Responsibilities
A. Faculty members of the committee represent the greater good of the college and will make budgetary recommendations based on a broad range of faculty interests and ideas. B. On issues of broader import, committee members have an obligation to consult with the larger college prior to making a recommendation to the dean.
