TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT THE BACKGROUND OF YOUR COMPANY. At Studio PDP, we bring more than 30 years’ experience designing beautifully considered places to live, work and relax. Our particular expertise lies in prime residential projects that combine strong sustainability credentials with exceptional design quality—whether creating a one-of-a-kind private home or delivering a large, high-end development. We are especially known for our sensitive approach to architecture, particularly when working with historic buildings and within conservation areas. Over the years we have built a strong track record securing planning and listed building consents in some of London’s most characterful neighbourhoods, including many projects within Westminster. Alongside our architectural work, we offer interior design expertise and are supported by a dedicated health and safety team. WHAT IS YOUR CUSTOMER PROCESS? Our process begins with understanding our clients and what they want from their home. Through detailed but relaxed conversations, we explore how they live, what inspires
them, and what they hope their new or renovated home will deliver, alongside expectations around sustainability, quality and budget. From these discussions we develop a clear design brief so that everyone is aligned before the design work begins. We then develop early sketches and plans, refining them collaboratively as ideas evolve. Visualisations, models and—where we are leading the interiors—mood boards and material samples help clients clearly picture their future home. Once the concept is agreed, we guide the project through the necessary approvals, including planning and listed building consent where required. From there we can move into technical design, coordinating the wider consultant team and preparing information for tender. During construction our role can range from light-touch oversight to full contract administration, ensuring the completed home reflects the original vision. Our service is always flexible, tailored to suit each client’s needs while providing clear guidance throughout the process.
