The hil1;hlight oJ the season was the 1969 version of our own Western Frontier Relays with some ]5 Colleges participating from New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Canada. Defense of the twire won leMoyne Relay crown was difficult and Cortland was a tough opponent in the State University of New York Athletic Conference Track Championships at Buffalo. Sprinters Ken Meister, Dennis Senn. Den– nis Burgoon, and Brad Herman shaltered the 440 yard relay record, and Dan Feather was the versatile athlete running the 440, 880 and intermediate hurdles. The distance runners again fumished strong support for the team.
