The trifold purposes of the Women's Recreational Association are to in– crease the number of women participating in the various W.R.A. activities, to improve and develop skill in a variety of recreational and competitive activities, and to foster and promote a co-recreational program for the college students. Numerous activities are offered to meet the needs and interests of the students. Activities are divided into fOllr areas: intrammal, intercollegiate, clubs, and recreation. Intrammal tournaments are beld in badminton, basketball, bowling, ooftball, tennis, paddleball, and volleyball. Basketball, bowling, fencing, field hockey, tennis and volleyball teams compete on the intercollegiate level. The clubs include riding, modem dance, and synchronized swimming. The synchronized swimming club presents a show each year. Recreational opportllnities are offered thrOllgh a once 11. week "Ladies Nite in tbe Gym" and co-recreational tournaments.
