The Buchanan Family Our company was founded in June 1996, by Geary Buchanan. At the time, Geary was an owner operator with 24 years of experience in the trucking industry. Geary started the company with one truck, two trailers and a dream to supply quality transportation at fair market rates, to build long lasting business relationships and provide quality jobs to drivers and owner operators. Buchanan Hauling started with no business plan, only the notion that hard work would pay off and that we could out work and outperform the competition. Since the beginning, our company has experienced double digit growth, all while maintaining our focus on continually improving the way we do our jobs. WHAT TO EXPECT
uchanan Logistics accounts are managed by a direct contact and backed up by our inter-department sales teams so that we can be as responsive and knowledgeable as possible. Once we have Customer contact info and A/P info all else that is required is clearance through our Credit department and we are ready to do business. Our Account Managers utilize our internal as well as 3rd-party market pricing software to handle all bidding and RFQs to make sure our customers are getting the most accurate, and timely, information possible. Our Account Manager’s primary focus is Quality Service, once a load is accepted we handle the rest so that our Customers can focus on their obligations.
