How does your customer process work from receiving an initial enquiry? Patrina’s work style is a blend of professionalism and personalization. Her process commences with a call or a direct booking on the company website, which is then followed by a detailed questionnaire and an onsite consultation. After all of this comes the time for Patrina to sprinkle her creativity by transforming ideas into innovative designs that align with the client’s vision and requirements. Her design philosophy focuses on understanding client’s needs. Patrina listens to understand her client’s needs just like a detective who leaves no stone unturned to find clues. She explores market trends and technological possibilities to craft solutions that are functional, aesthetic, and sustainable. What’s your favourite thing about living and working in Bermuda? Being surround by the beautiful turquoise waters and the peacefulness is truly a blessing and pleasant place to live. Tell us a little about the background of Carey Interior Designs? Patrina Carey, the owner and founder of Carey Interior Designs. Patrina’s journey is a perfect example of the power of perseverance and vision. Her journey started from a humble beginning and was soon spearheaded into a thriving design business. Patrina credits her family environment for her love for interior design. “Surrounded by talented women in my family, whose homes always looked like a designer styled them, was something I always admired,” she recalls. Inspired by them, she also experimented by creating her own curtains and bedding in a luxurious royal blue velvet, in her early teens. In 2007, she took a leap of faith by creating a business plan named the business, Carey’s Visual Designs. While pursuing an online associate degree in interior design with Rhodec International, she laid the foundation for her passion in the interior design industry.
