Quilt Contest & Ladies Tea A s she has for many years, Jane Linn will be hosting the Quilt Contest at the Mid-America Nationals. The Quilt Contest takes place in conjunction with the Ladies Tea. The Tea starts at 1:30pm and Jane suggests you bring your quilts in a little before and take them back with you at the conclusion of the Tea. Both activities will once again be held in Center Hall of the Expo Building. Ladies Shopping Trip The Battlefield Mall trip at the Mid-America Nationals will take place on Saturday, May 24. The bus will pick up shoppers at Gate 3 at 11am and drop them off at the Food Court entrance of the mall. The bus will arrive back at the same Food Court entrance at 2pm to bring shoppers back to the fairgrounds. There will only be one return trip, so you won’t want to miss it. The time and gate change will also be marked in the Official Event Guide.
