The NSRA hands out two awards at the GNRS and one of them went to John Robinson’s ’51 Ford F1 that used to belong to his dad, Fat Jack. The black hauler has Buick 430 big-block power, sits slammed on a lowered crossmember and Z-d frame, spins custom Boyd Coddington wheels, and still looks cool in tons of purple anodizing everywhere.
The second NSRA award went to John Funakoshi’s gorgeous ’32 Ford roadster built by Victor Leon from Magnum Axle. John has made some updates and now the slick Deuce features big-block power, three pedals, and hairpins holding a 6-inch dropped axle.
