COVER PHOTO CONTEST

Jerry Meneguzzo from Calumet, Michigan, was out cruising when he ran across this barn with a perfectly weathered roof. He parked his red '34 Plymouth coupe in front of the cool old barn, earning him and his great looking classic an Honorable Mention.

This ‘31 Chevy four-door sedan runs a Ford flathead V-8, C4 auto and Chevy 10-bolt rear. The Mustang runs a late-model 5.0 HO, TCI C4 and 8- inch rear. Simon Huizer from Brick, New Jersey, built both in his home shop and painted them at the local Vo-Tech shop. The ‘31 was his first full build, and it took 10 years; the Mustang was more complete and only took 3 years.

St. Joseph, Missouri, is known for several things including the nickname "Pony Express City" where Jesse James was shot. Local rodder Tom Sinclair has photographed his trusty Chevy with a wide variety of backgrounds in recent years, but we’d say he nailed it when he checked in at the Pony Express Motel.
