Classic Performance Products (CPP) now offers “Totally Tubular” A- arms for the popular Tri-Five Chevies. Made from 1 1/4-inch .120 wall D.O.M. tubing with 1 1/2-inch .188 pivot bushing ends, five degrees of caster is built into these control arms while providing full wheel travel. The bushings are
made from self-lubricating, non- squeak, patented plastic designed to outlast rubber and urethane at temperatures in excess of 4000 F. The billet 4140-alloy steel cross shafts and bushing sleeves are zinc plated, featuring an interlocking design that prevents the hardware from ever working loose. The con-
trol arm shaft and pivots carry both forward and back loads (original arms carried forward and back loads, but not both) and the ball joints are included. The control arm assemblies are a simple bolt-in and will work with all factory and replacement power steering sys- tems. Automotive Racing Products (ARP) now makes it easy to upgrade factory hardware with premium quality, polished stainless steel bolts that come in handy 5- packs by size. In addition to large bolts that range from 1/2” to 1/4” in diameter, ARP offers #10-32, #10-24 and the new #8-32 sizes. Manufactured in-house at ARP’s California facilities, the new #8-32 bolts feature 12-point heads and are available in .375”, .500”, .625”, .750”, .875”, 1.000”, 1.125”, 1.250”, 1.375” and 1.500” under-head lengths and can be employed for a variety of tasks in a vehicle’s engine com- partment, interior and elsewhere.
