Christina (Chris) Mockler, initiated into Chapter M, London, Ontario, in 2010, was delighted to have three of her daughters join her in Chapter M. She lived in Windsor, Ontario, where she earned her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in biology, at the University of Windsor. She met her future husband, John, at a campus church community there, and they moved to London after marrying in 1980. They have four daughters and soon-to-be six grandchildren. All the family lives in London, so she feels blessed to be able to spend time with them frequently. Chris is happily retired, after three different careers—first as a research biologist, studying rheumatoid arthritis, then as a full-time mother, raising her daughters, then as a part- time worker in a friend’s print shop. She has volunteered with the Out of The Cold meal program for those in need, since 2014. She joins some of her Chapter M sisters to knit hats and scarves for charities in London. Some of her other favorite activities include cycling, walking, reading, playing bridge badly and most of all—spending time with her family and hosting them all for big Sunday dinners.
