S et on the Southern Coast of the island, surrounded by the pleasant fragrance of fresh ocean water, Ku De Ta Restaurant's idyllic tropical setting is a perfect destination for sun-seeking travelers for their shore side chill and dine occasion. The elegantly designed spaces seamlessly transition into a lively backdrop for music, dancing, lounging and dining as the sun sets into the evening. Ku De Ta just currently announced the arrival of new executive kitchen team led by Executive Chef Jeremy Hunt and Head Chef Warren Carney. Since the introduction, the South African pair has introduced ample change to the venue's casual restaurant (and also the fine-dining Mejekawi establishment). Inspired by the island’s seasonal produce and laid-back tropical lifestyle, the new menu directions encapsulate the food philosophies the new chefs bring with them. Both classically trained Cordon Bleu graduates, Jeremy and Warren have established a distinct new dining direction for the venue, focusing on crisp flavors and classic techniques, designed to be enjoyed while digesting the spectacular ocean views. For a starter, try Ssamjang Gua Bao Pork; an Asian-inspired treat which consist of a jet-black xiaobao buns, spring onions, oi-sobagi and gochujang aioli. The sweet,

Enormous king prawns, grilled into perfection with activated almonds, salsa verde, grilled spring onion, charred orange and saffron risotto for a memorably delightful seafood treat. Squeeze the orange on top of the fresh prawn meat for a touch of zesty flavour, and enjoy each bite with a spoonful of creamy risotto. For another Ocean- based goodness, you may want to try Pan- Roasted Barramundi Fillet, which consist a slab of crispy-skinned tender barramundi meat, served along spicy hazelnut romesco, wild garlic quinoa cake, sautéed asparagus and grilled peppers. For a trusty dessert to wrap up your splendid dine, try a portion of Baked Vanilla Cheesecake. Creamy, soft cheesecake served with crunchy honeycomb tuile and tasty homemade cinnamon gelato. A perfectly sweet closure for your magnificent feast!
