As the CEO of The Franchise Steward, Eric can’t think of many things more important than carefully assisting others in their pursuit of business ownership through the franchise model. With 30+ years of corporate experience in a variety of industries, including 7 years of experience within the franchise space as both a franchisee and franchise consultant, Eric considers himself to be uniquely qualified to assist aspiring franchisees in realizing their dream of business ownership. Whether helping aspiring owners in navigating through the many steps along the franchise journey (e.g. candidate discovery, franchisor introduction(s), interview prep coaching, financing conversations, etc.), Eric’s primary professional objective and personal orientation is to serve as the principal advocate and guide for every candidate as they make perhaps one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. Eric is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and is a graduate of both Howard University (B.S.) and the University of Chicago (MBA). He is married to wife Lori of 27 years and has two adult children, Malik and Anaya. His interests include spending time with family, traveling, watching and actively participating in sporting activities, and motivating young people.
