Taking advantage of any opportunity to reduce cor- porate shipping expenses has a profound impact on cor- porate bottom lines. As an example, a company with a 10 percent margin of profit that reduces shipping expenses by $5 million will add $50,000,000 to the company’s bot- tom line without selling a single additional product. And, the ability to reduce shipping expenses will go a long way in offsetting the additional costs companies will be experi- encing by shifting suppliers, should that become an option for businesses.
