WHAT IS... FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPY? Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a system of traction and stretching that focuses on the joints, muscle, fascia and surrounding tissue. The practitioner gently pulls on your joint, such as the leg, and moves it through a series of stretch positions for improved muscle length and range of the joint. Some of the stretches may involve an “activate and release” technique which will give you additional length and range of motion for areas in need. FST is a wonderful treatment for muscle imbalance, limitations in range of motion ie: hip or shoulder, and even poor posture. Whether you are an athlete, a weekend warrior, elderly or simply feeling tight from work, FST is for you!

By lengthening the major fascial lines and improving joint range, you will feel lighter, longer, and able to move with more ease. Call our Bedford clinic (902-407-7207) to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see if FST is right for you.
