Crisis Management and COVID-19
APEGA prepared for the unexpected with our Crisis Management Plan . The document—developed several years ago—outlines what actions we’ll take in an emergency to keep employees safe and minimize interruptions to our operations and services. It provided guidance during the pandemic, enabling us to successfully coordinate our efforts and response. We also followed government and public health mandates and protocols for the health of all employees, contractors, and volunteers.
Our offices in Calgary and Edmonton remained closed to the public in 2021.
Most staff continued to work remotely.
For the safety of employees who came to the office, we adjusted seating plans, installed taller workstation walls and other physical barriers, and required masks.
We are excited to welcome people back to our offices—when it’s safe to do so.
