EXPERIENCE

Experience as a Senior Mechanical and Electrical Engineer within a related organisation Previous experience of managing co-ordinating and monitoring performance of external M&E consultants and contractors Experience of undertaking M&E feasibility studies and producing scenarios and options with budgets and cost plan Experience in Engineering Design and Infrastructure systems Experience of leading on M&E installations on new and refurbishment projects Experience of producing an M&E Engineering Strategy and specifications along with design information briefs to procure works for new and refurbishment installations Experience of management of governance, business cases, budgets and budgetary information Experience of undertaking site audits and checks of “as built” information, soft landings process and liaising with key stakeholders, consultants and contractors A good part of this experience gained in a similar environment to a University Experience of working with a recognised Quality Assurance System Experience of Marketing Services to clients Educated to degree level or relevant and equivalent in Engineering related subject Relevant and recognised qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering Relevant post graduate qualification in management NEBOSH or similar relevant safety qualification Hold, or working towards, a current full membership of the Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers Professional (CIBSE) and be, or working towards, a full Chartered Member of the Engineering Council.
