The following is an update of the Board’s search for PUHSD’s next Superintendent. The process is being facilitated by the Placer County Office of Education (PCOE).
The application window closed on April 14, 2025 Each member of the PUHSD Board of Trustees individually reviewed the applications at PCOE’s offices PCOE staff vetted the applications for all requirements A Special Board meeting to discuss the applicants was held on April 23, 2024 Community panels and Board interviews took place on April 28 and April 29 th th The Board of Trustees met with finalists on April 30th
At the time of this newsletter's publication, the Board selected their candidate and authorized President Spaid and Clerk Duncan to work with counsel on the terms of the contract. Following negotiations and acceptance of the position, the new Superintendent will be announced at a Regular Board Meeting.
The new Superintendent is scheduled to take office on July 1, 2025.
