Homecoming The Homecoming movie marathon brought with it a week of excitement and school spirit over a week in September. It kicked off with Mad Hatter Monday, during which students dressed in their wackiest outfits and enjoyed a morning tea party with free donuts and tea. On Tuesday, students from multiple grades wore colors representing emotions from the animated film “Inside Out” and battled in an intense dodgeball tournament. Wednesday transported students into a Teen Beach Movie Day, with bikers and surfers filling the campus and a movie screening for all. Thursday featured a cozy Movie Night theme, with students dressed in pajamas, sipping hot chocolate, and showcasing their creativity in a lively lip-sync performance. The Friday grand finale had Lower School students rallying at a pep rally and Upper School students embracing the superhero film “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” donning red, black, and white for Cheerfest. The week’s energy carried through to the Homecoming football game, Ho‘olaulea, traditional Burning of the I, and Homecoming Dance in the Lower Gym. Homecoming Week proved a blockbuster hit, leaving everyone eager for a sequel!
