Residential Life Grade Nine Retreat During the October 19 and 20 weekend, grade nine ResLife students attended their first grade-level retreat at Camp Erdman, enjoying bonding activities, a campfire, and a beach sunrise. They also tackled the high ropes course, testing their strength, bravery, and teamwork. Retreats for grade 10 and 11 boarding students were set for the second quarter.
Kindergarteners Celebrate Fire Safety Month ‘Iolani kindergarteners visited the McCully- Mō‘ili‘ili Fire Station for Fire Safety Month in October, exploring fire trucks and trying out a fire hose. The highlight of the visit for students was watching a firefighter climb a 110-foot ladder to take their picture. Mahalo to Engine and Ladder 29, Captain Ivan Kaneshiro, and all the HFD firefighters for the unforgettable experience!
